Is Section 144 covered at Truist Park? ›

Shaded vs Covered Seating Sections 144 and 145 offer the only overhead coverage here. Seats in rows 12 will be located underneath the overhanging 200 level sections above.

Lower Level Infield Seating

Sections in the lower level infield offer excellent views from near the corner bases and on the closest seating tier to the field at Truist Park.

Seats in the back half of the 100-level Diamond and Executive sections behind home plate and along the baselines are shaded, as they are under direct cover. Specifically, seek out seats in the upper rows of sections 113-138. Additionally, the 400-level benefits from a generous roof, so many Grandstand seats are shaded.

Truist Park is primarily a smoke-free facility. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is only permitted outside the Third Base Gate.

Truist Park suites range from $5,800 to $12,000 per private suite. Club seats at Truist Park will range from $100 per ticket to $1,000 per ticket. Truist Park suite and club seat prices vary based on the matchup, location, type of seating, and amenities included.

Outside Food & Drink

Outside food is allowed inside of Truist Park as long as it fits inside a clear, gallon sized plastic bag. Guests may also bring a sealed plastic bottle of water. One bag of food and one bottle of water per ticket will be permitted.

“There's really not a bad seat at Truist Park,” Speros said. “But, you know, I had to find the worst of a good lot.” That seat, Section 410, Row 12, Seat 1, at the top of the right field stands, may not the best for someone who has trouble with stairs.

MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express are accepted at ticket windows, restaurants, concessions and merchandise locations in Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta. Credit cards will be accepted in the parking decks and surface lots.

What features can fans expect? The premium boxes can hold between eight and 14 people with a mix of cushioned seats and high-top bar seating. Each includes complimentary premium parking, private entrance and unlimited access to the Xfinity Club. The Braves will also have an “exclusive” menu delivered to the boxes.

Truist Club seats at Truist Park are the closest seats to the Braves home plate than anywhere else in the stadium.

Really early. Don't leave at 6 for a 7:10 start time. Go two, even three hours early, and make a day of out of it. There is plenty to see and do at The Battery Atlanta, a mixed-use development, adjacent to SunTrust Park, to pass the time.

Even though it's an aisle seat and has a cover to protect you from the elements, the heavy traffic of fans coming and going up and down the stairs next to you throughout the game keeps you from being able to watch the game.

There are also 46 suites around the ballpark providing spectacular views of the field. The stadium also has a 90-foot roof – three times the size of the current roof at Turner Field – and air conditioning on every level makes sure the majority of fans are cool on hot summer days.

Atop the upper deck is a 90-feet wide canopy to ensure cover from the scorching hot sun in the summer.

Unfortunately, Truist Park doesn't have many covered areas. Thankfully, there are a few options if you're looking for a shaded area or to be protected from inclement weather. If you're looking for covered seating at an Atlanta Braves home game, stick with the upper deck 400-level sections between 1st and 3rd base.
