Akshay Kumar quickly moves from project to project. After wrapping up filming on two of his films, Production 41 and Raksha Bandhan, Akshay has now started work on his next one, Gorkha, which was announced on Dussehra.
While filming for Raksha Bandhan wrapped up in India, Production 41’s full schedule was in London. Sharing an interesting anecdote from the filming of the film, a source says the directors recreated the mini Manali in London to add an Indian touch to Production 41.
âThe makers wanted to show an Indian Mela, so they rented a large lot in London and called in Indian confectioners. Stalls of hot jalebis, rasgulla and other sweets were set up. To show the crowd, the directors chose some 150 Indians and Pakistanis living in London.
While the film was previously titled Mission Cinderella, the source claims Production 41 is the working title. While the directors have yet to make an official announcement, Akshay recently posted a photo from the set, with the movie name being Production 41.
While filming the film in September, Akshay lost his mother. But the actor didn’t let the tragedy affect his schedule and resumed filming two days after his mother died. âAkshay immersed himself in the work. He started spending more time on sets and in meetings for upcoming films. His schedule was 16 days after his mother died, but he finished filming in 12 days giving extra time daily, âthe source adds.
