Jenn Colella stars in film version of “Come From Away”

The filmed version of “Come From Away” premieres on Apple TV + on September 10.

Musical comedy was shot at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater in May 2021, with original actor Jenn Colella as Beverley / Annette and others. Colella was joined by original Broadway cast Petrina Bromley, playing Bonnie and others, Joel Hatch as Claude and others, Caesar Samayoa as Kevin J./Ali and others, Q. Smith like Hannah et al. Astrid Van Wieren as Beulah et al and Sharon Wheatley as Diane et al.

De’Lon Grant has appeared as Bob et al, Tony Lepage as Kevin T. et al, Emily Walton as Janie et al, Jim Walton as Nick / Doug et al, and Paul Whitty as Oz et al. All of them appeared in “Come From Away” at various times during her Broadway run.

Broadway production is planned to resume performances on September 21.

The filmed production was directed by musical director Christopher Ashley and shot by RadicalMedia. The musical is produced by eOne, a subsidiary of toy and entertainment company Hasbro and producers of the Broadway musical, Junkyard Dog Productions.

Irene Sankoff and David Hein, who wrote the book and score for the musical, are executive producers alongside Jon Kamen, Dave Sirulnick and Meredith Bennett of RadicalMedia.
