Pandemic delays performing arts festival

(MENAFN – Panama Press Room) The Performing Arts and Audiovisual Foundation has announced that the celebration of the 11th International Performing Arts Festival (FAE 2021), which was scheduled to take place between August 4 and 8, is postponed to early 2022.

“We made this decision because the pandemic which affects us in the health and economic fields, and of which we have already suffered its third wave without any certainty of the magnitude it will have, has made our efforts difficult. we were not able to obtain enough sponsorships to be able to make it a reality as we had planned ”, indicates a press release signed by the president of the foundation, Roberto Enrique King.

The event will now take place from April 4 to 10, 2022.

The FAE is organized by the Fondation des Arts du Spectacle et de l’Audiovisuel, in alliance with the Ministry of Culture.

Since its founding in 2004, the festival has offered a selection of the best of contemporary theater and dance with a special focus on Latin America, as quality alternative entertainment.
