A federal jury in Los Angeles on Monday awarded $ 6.3 million to actress Shannen Doherty in a lawsuit alleging State Farm failed to pay enough for damage to her home in a fire of forest in California in 2018.

The jury concluded that the insurance giant’s failure to pay police compensation for Doherty’s house in Malibu was “unreasonable and without good cause.”

The verdict covers damage to Doherty’s home and property, emotional distress, and attorney fees.
